I could not have said it better myself.<br />The more I look back on our lives, the more I see my parents listening to when and what level of education and exposure to our birth culture that we wanted. My level of exposure was very different from my siblings&#39; because I wanted the information and they did not. While always making sure our network was culturally diverse, my parents never assumed to know the answers to all the questions about our birth culture, but made sure that they had someone at the ready and/or the resources that could.
